About Maclamax®
Macleaya Cordata Leaves for Animal Feeds
The active ingredients in Maclamax® are secondary metabolites formed during plant stress responses, primarily benzophenanthridine alkaloids (QBAs), including sanguinarine and chelerythrine. These alkaloids exhibit potent anti-inflammatory and growth-promoting properties.
All active substances in Maclamax® can be quantitatively measured and identified using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to ensure consistent product quality. Maclamax® also demonstrates excellent stability, maintaining the efficacy of its active ingredients even after prolonged exposure to temperatures as high as 105°C for up to 40 minutes during pelleting, extrusion, or expansion processes.
Key Benefits
Applications
Maclamax® can be incorporated into feed formulations at different growth stages, delivering benefits for a variety of animal species, including poultry, swine, cattle, and aquaculture. It is especially beneficial for young animals, such as piglets, calves and chicks, during their critical early development phases.
Usage Guidelines
The recommended inclusion rate of Maclamax® in animal feed varies based on the specific formulation and target species. Consult with our nutritionist for precise dosage recommendations tailored to your livestock’s needs.
